Going Obsolete: Daily Prompt

“Of all the technologies that have gone extinct in your lifetime which one do you miss the most?”

I’m still a dinosaur with a VCR and a stack of tapes, but in reality the technology I’m saddest to see go is the Record.  Vinyl records have clearer sound, better quality, longer life and have been around for over a century.  They withstood the test of time until everything went digital.  When it did, we all lost a little something.  (Those of you who know how analog to digital conversion works should get the joke.)  Frankly LP’s just sound better.  And there’s just something fun about a record player.
